ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

We are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to achieve this.

What web accessibility is

Web accessibility means that websites, tools, and technologies are designed and developed so that people with disabilities can use them. More specifically, people can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with the web1. This includes accommodations for visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

Our website strives to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. We have implemented features such as alt text for images, keyboard navigation, and adjustable text sizes. We also ensure our site is compatible with common screen readers and provide high-contrast options.

Declaration of partial compliance with the standard due to third-party content

While we are committed to maintaining a high level of accessibility on our website, we acknowledge that some content provided by third-party services may not fully comply with all accessibility standards. This includes, but is not limited to, embedded social media feeds, donation processing platforms, and certain interactive features. We are actively working with our third-party providers to improve accessibility and will update this statement as improvements are made. If you encounter any difficulties accessing third-party content on our site, please contact us, and we will do our best to provide the information in an alternative, accessible format.

Accessibility arrangements in the organization

Our commitment to accessibility extends beyond our website. As a campaign organization, we strive to make all our events, materials, and interactions accessible to everyone. This includes providing sign language interpreters at major events upon request, offering campaign literature in large print or braille formats, and ensuring our campaign offices are physically accessible. We also provide training to our staff and volunteers on disability awareness and inclusive communication. Our goal is to create an inclusive campaign that represents and serves all members of our diverse community.
